Solution
In November 2012, works were performed at the Alers Rus warehouse terminal in Saint Petersburg for unloading containers with medical equipment for the Proton Therapy Center under construction in Dimitrovgrad. A mobile inflatable warehouse was installed to store equipment worth about 40 billion rubles. For installation above medical equipment, the pre-fabricated hangar was divided into three independent modules. Installation of the pneumatic hangar was performed using a LIEBHERR LTM-1130 truck crane with a load capacity of 130 tons and a boom-out of 60 m. The installation was completed within 16 hours.
To ensure the required storage conditions for the equipment, the pneumatic framed structure was equipped with a block-modular diesel boiler with a capacity of 0.3 mW. 12 fan heaters with hot water supply from the boiler were located inside the hangar. The pneumatic hangar was equipped with supply and exhaust ventilation, led lighting, an automatic fire extinguishing system and alarm system. Storage of equipment at the Alers Rus warehouse site continued for three years. When the construction of the Proton Therapy Center was completed, the pneumohangar was dismantled and the equipment was transported to the city of Dimitrovgrad.
