Task description
Yamal LNG has ordered Mammoet to establish a transportation network for the development of the Sabetta seaport.
As part of its service, Mammoet carries out routine maintenance and repair of equipment throughout the entire duration of the project. In order to comply with the HSE requirements for the protection of personnel and material, Mammoet needed an enclosed space for parking, maintenance and repair of self-propelled assembly trolleys.
Solution
In September 2015, mobile warehouses for parking, maintenance and repair of self-propelled assembly trolleys were delivered to Sabetta Seaport. Sheltering of the equipment has made it possible to maintain the efficiency of the equipment in the harsh conditions of the Arctic.
The YAMAL LNG project involves the construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant with an annual capacity of about 16.5 million tons at the resource base of the Yuzhno-Tambeyskoye field. As part of the project, a transport infrastructure is being created, including the seaport and airport of Sabetta.
